What are the office hours?
Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. We are closed on Sundays.
What are the access hours?
You have access to your unit 7 days a week from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. Our facility is secure and offers easy access for your convenience.
What if I can't get into the office during regular hours?
Since our managers live on-site, you would need to set an appointment with them for after-hour rentals.
What am I not allowed to store?
For your safety, we do not allow hazardous materials, perishable goods, or items that may attract pests. Please contact us if you have any questions about what can be stored.
What unit size do I need?

What storage options do you offer?
At Atkinson Self Storage, we offer a variety of storage options, including indoor and outdoor RV, boat, and vehicle parking, as well as ground-floor storage units for personal and business needs. We also provide alarm-protected units for extra peace of mind.
What security features do you offer?
We prioritize your security with features such as individually alarmed units, fenced and gated access, security cameras, and a resident manager on-site. Our facility is clean, safe, and well-lit to ensure your belongings are protected.
How do I pay my storage bill?
We offer easy online bill pay options, allowing you to manage your account from anywhere. You can pay your bill securely through our website, or you can pay in person during office hours.
How do I rent a unit?
Renting a unit is quick and simple! You can reserve and rent a unit online, or call us at (707) 693-9200 to speak with a friendly staff member. We also accept walk-ins during office hours.
Is there a set-up fee?
Yes, $10.00(one-time non-refundable). This is standard, but could be higher.
What documentation do I need to rent a unit?
To rent a unit, you will need a valid ID and proof of address. Our team will guide you through the process and ensure everything is set up for you.
Am I required to store long-term?
No, you are not required to store long-term. Whether you need short-term or long-term storage, we offer flexible options to fit your needs.
Do I have to bring my own lock or do you furnish them?
You will need to furnish your own lock. We do have locks and all your moving box needs in our store for your convenience at a very reasonable price.
How much notice to Vacate?
We require a 14-day notice in writing - mail, email, fax, or form at our store. When you are finished we request that our unit be broom clean and please stop by the store to let us know that you have completed your move, so we can process your move out to get your refund to you as soon as possible.
How do I change my address with you?
Due to the change of address becoming a part of your lease agreement and it is a legal contract, we need to have the change of address in writing only.
Can I get a larger size or smaller size if my storage needs change?
Certainly, we will try and locate the closest size that will fit your new needs to your vacating unit. We can give you a couple of days to make the change of units and all deposits and monies will be transferred to your new unit (no vacate notice needed). We have dollies in our store for your moving convenience.
